    Psychotherapist at CompassionSpace

    I am a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology graduate with decades of experience in community wellness.  I’m a meditation teacher, and I’m committed to helping you discover a place of ease and resilience. We can work together to find your most meaningful responses to difficult emotions or relationship challenges. I use a neuroscience-informed Mind/Body practice, and I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Buddhist psychological approaches.

    I am a Ph.D. candidate and a lifetime student of Eastern and Western Philosophy. My previous education is in Counselling Psychology (MA), Buddhist studies, Philosophy (BA). Fine Art (Minor) and Neuroscience (Graduate cert.). 

     

    What matters most

    We can begin by discovering what matters most to you. Even in profound loss, or trauma, it is possible to come to a place of growth and change. Meaningful change can emerge in relation to how we feel toward ourselves, our physical being, and in our interactions with others. The journey starts with creative discovery and self-compassion.

    First Steps

     

    It can be difficult to reach out for counselling services, but this may be an important first step to discovering solutions. In counselling, we can discuss ways to live better with life-challenges, or with difficult thoughts and feelings, such as persistent worry, sadness or anger.
